Have a very Tarantino Christmas with these gift ideas

It’s that time of the year again… and it’s been a while since we posted some last-minute ideas for you to get yourself or a loved one as a holiday gift. It will be too late to get these on time, but more often than not, you’ll have more cash to spend after boxing day than before, and hey, it’s about the spirit that counts. Whether you’re observing these holidays or not, go treat yourselfs. Tarantino fans are cineastes (or at least wanna-be movie geeks, aspiring to become connoisseurs like Quentin himself), so it’s always a good idea to enrich your knowledge of film with a some expert picks from around the world. Here are a few ideas to get you started, leading you to some lists we have compiled for you….

1. For Tarantino Fans

Slowly about to be out of print (at least in the US), Tarantino XX is still the absolute must-own BluRay box for Tarantino fans. But there’s more:

We have set up a new Amazon Shop (US Amazon.com only at this point) with some gift ideas. We’ll expand these lists bit by bit, but be sure to check them out and once you put stuff in your shopping cart, watch for what Amazon recommends you next, these are usually determined by what other movie geeks buy, so go on a discovery!

2. For Spaghetti Western Fans, visit the SWDb:

The SWDb’s Holiday Gift Guide is also full of new and semi-new BluRay releases and a few other spaghetti western ideas.

3. For Grindhouse Fans

If you’re into the wild and weird, get to the GCDb for some great BluRay ideas for exploitation fans

Done with some exploitation BluRays? Also check out some books.

The books list is of course titled Textploitation :)

And have you checked out

And there’s Sebastian’s growing Movie Geek Shopping List on Amazon.com which you can browse.

From our friends at Furious Cinema, another great list with ideas for movie fans: and a list of book ideas

Lastly, some more personal recommendations

For music, get the Morricone 60 CD, an excellent collection of new recordings and original versions at Amazon.com, at Amazon.de, at Amazon.co.uk, at Amazon.fr, at Amazon.it or at Amazon.es – a great addition to your dwindling CD collection.

And if you want a rare, original collector’s item from the limited 70mm Roadshow Release of The Hateful Eight, get one of the original program booklets:

Happy holiday shopping folks! Be sure to join our forums to exchange movie ideas with others and we’re looking forward to a great, cinematic 2018!
