Inglorious Bastards script completed, says Tarantino in Provincetown

As we’ve reported earlier, Tarantino received the Filmmaker on the Edge award at the Provincetown Film Festival this weekend. Not only was he humbled to receive the award, saying “I’m not trying to be on the edge, I’m not trying to go against the grain or anything, I’m just telling my stories and I’ve been lucky enough to actually find an audience”, the locals also pronounced June 21s “Tarantino Day”. What’s more interested to the anticipating fans out there is that there comes another few quotes about Inglorious Bastards straight from the man. Confirming all the stories about him having finished writing the film and all that jazz. According to the BBC, Quentin said he was a “real lucky dude” because he had finished the script only a weak earlier and that he was it was “actually kind of very bizarre” for him that everyone knew he was done. No wonder, if he skipped The Rolling Roadshow Leone Edition for it. While most things, including casting and the exact story remain rumors, he sais “This is a modern, in-your-face movie. This is not a TV movie period piece”. Notice he’s not talking in the plural, so there’s yet hope he’s actually making one film.
