As we’ve reported earlier, rising German star actor Daniel Brühl has been cast in Inglorious Bastards. Now the Berliner Kurier, a local paper, writes that he might in fact have been cast as the main villian Hans Landa – aka ‘The Jew Hunter’ – the vicious SS Officer, a role for which Daniel beat Leonardo diCaprio, Gedeon Burkhard and Til Schweiger. You’re shooting a film with lots of Germans in them, so while you’re in Berlin, why not talk to some German actors for these roles? That’s what Quentin did.
