Have you calmed down? The teaser trailer that hit the net in full inglouriuos force yesterday certainly had me click the “replay” button numerous times (also watch it in German if you wanna see inglourious dubbing). While I think it didn’t have the kick-ass attitude of the Kill Bill teaser years ago, which practically knocked me out of my comfy office chair, it nevertheless set the mood right. This film won’t be your typical WW2 movie, this one will be mean, nasty and rude, with sugar on top.

UPDATE: Click here to read about Tarantino walking Empire Magazine through the trailer, and also explaining the title

While I got to witness a day of shooting at the set in early January (read our set report right here if you haven’t yet), Harry Knowles of AICN witnessed the shooting of the pyromaniac finale of the film for a few days in early February (click here to read his report). Quentin Tarantino made shooting Inglourious Basterds a tour de force, a precise, Basterdly undertaking that only a super focused genius like him could pull off. I cannot wait to see more of this. Stay tuned, I’ll post a few more exclusive pictures over the next days showing off some more of those in-movie posters, lobby cards and artwork.
