The Cockatoo Inn was featured in Jackie Brown, where Ordell met Jackie for a drink to discuss her plan to basically get Ordell some of his money from the feds. The real bar was located on the corner of El Segundo and Hawthorne Blvd. in Hawthorne, CA. It has been destroyed with the sign remaining. As of 2007, the Los Angeles School District had bought the property and planned are to turn it into a school.
