Tarantino on American Idol movie soundtrack week

You’ve heard about it, you might’ve even watched it (unlike me), and from what I’m seeing now on YouTube it was probably lots of fun, with Quentin probably having had the most fun. Quentin Tarantino was on American Idol this week, mentoring, as they call it, the contestants on their performances of movie soundtracks. Well who better than Quentin, the master of movie soundtracks. MTV has a live blog of the performances (click) and there are a few things on the official website, so check that out RIGHT HERE, with a few blurbs with Quentin. Also watch this.

Edit: Apparently, also footage from Inglourious Basterds was shown briefly, yet the movie’s title was never actually mentioned. The little intro reel on Tarantino can be seen HERE (starts at 3:58)  in low quality (the clip ends where the Basterds footage is supposed to show, we’ll keep you posted. If you know a place where the whole reel can be watched, please send us an email), notice the voiceover guy from the Grindhouse trailer.
