New Sukiyaki Western: Django Trailer
For those of you who already own the Japanese DVD, don’t get excited, but for most American audiences, MTV has unearthed an new US trailer for Sukiyaki Western: Django, the crazed-out Takashi Miike homage to Corbucci‘s original Django, with a cameo by Quentin Tarantino. The trailer itself I think doesn’t do justice to the film, although I haven’t seen it. Here is another trailer that looks a lot better. For those new to this film, the interesting aspect is that the movie is completely in English, but spoken by Japanese actors. Tarantino’s role is a small one.
