Daniel Brühl is Hans Landa, villian in Inglorious Bastards

As we’ve reported earlier, rising German star actor Daniel Brühl has been cast in Inglorious Bastards. Now the Berliner Kurier, a local paper, writes that he might in fact have been cast as the main villian Hans Landa – aka ‘The Jew Hunter’ – the vicious SS Officer, a role for which Daniel beat Leonardo diCaprio, Gedeon Burkhard and Til Schweiger. The paper quotes Brühl saying (rough translation) “I’m scared stiff”, he has about six weeks to prepare for his role as an evil Nazi. Daniel Brühl has risen to fame through movies such as The Edukators and Goodbye Lenin.
