Now the Berliner Kurier, a local paper, writes that he might in fact have been cast as the main villian Hans Landa – aka ‘The Jew Hunter’ – the vicious SS Officer, a role for which Daniel beat Leonardo diCaprio, Gedeon Burkhard and Til Schweiger. Goodbye Lenin star Daniel Brühl was quoted in the German tabloid magazine Bunte (rough translation), that he was tremendously happy about the role and that he would have been very disappointed if he hadn’t gotten the role.
