As we’ve reported earlier, Tarantino received the Filmmaker on the Edge award at the Provincetown Film Festival this weekend. Ever heard of the Provincetown International Film Festival? Well seems like it’s about time. The festival, which takes place regularly in or around Boston, is honoring Quentin Tarantino this year, as the Boston Globe writes. Quentin is receiving the festival’s Filmmaker on the Edge award. Tarantino is the honor’s 10th recipient, after John Waters, Christine Vachon, Gus Van Sant, and Jim Jarmusch. Provincetown is showing Pulp Fiction in celebration.

The Golden Schmoes , the annual awards from the folks over at Joblo .com, are way more democratic than, say, The Academy “Awards”.
