The Hateful Eight official cast, synopsis and premiere date
Production of The Hateful Eight will begin next month, with principal shooting to take place in Colorado. Quentin Tarantino has wasted no time casting this Kammerspiel of a western, which saw a teaserish teaser attached to Sin City 2 earlier this fall. The Hateful Eight is slated for a premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2015 with a 70mm wide release by the end of 2015, just in time for award season.
The cast has now been officially confirmed, with the amazing Demian Bichir (The Bridge, Machete Kills) joining the film (as Bob) as well as the originally rumored Channing Tatum in a minor role. The two are joining Kurt Russell (John Ruth), Samuel L. Jackson (Major Warren), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Daisy Domerque), Walton Goggins (Chris Mannix), Tim Roth (Oswaldo Mobray), Michael Madsen (Joe Gage) and Bruce Dern (General Smithers).

At the same time, the studio released an official synopsis of The Hateful Eight:
THE HATEFUL EIGHT is set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War. A stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth (Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh), race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as “The Hangman,” will bring Domergue to justice. Along the road, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Jackson), a black former union soldier turned infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Goggins), a southern renegade who claims to be the town’s new Sheriff. Losing their lead on the blizzard, Ruth, Domergue, Warren and Mannix seek refuge at Minnie’s Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When they arrive at Minnie’s, they are greeted not by the proprietor but by four unfamiliar faces. Bob (Bichir), who’s taking care of Minnie’s while she’s visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Roth), the hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Madsen), and Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, our eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red Rock after all…
Dude, I always having a feeling of trepidation whenever Quentin releases his new idea to the world. I am yet not to find something ground breaking and original in his new films.
Surrounded by a quality group of film people, outstanding actors and searching through dusty music files to breath new life into classic songs.
What ever you throw at the screen it will have my undivided attention to it’s ultimate bloody end.
Keep shaking up normality and banality of Hollywood. Your humour and vision surpasses the horseshit the regurgitates from the pit of doom that continues to bring your industry to it’s knees.
