What an evening. Hopes were high, excitement big. Inglourious Basterds was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, and each of them well deserved. The evening started out with no surprise neither: Christoph Waltz took home the golden statuette for his role as Col Hans Landa of the SS. A great speech.
