Inglourious Basterds to hit TNT in 2012

Inglourious Basterds, remember that one? Yeah the movie that’s still making close to a million at the box office every day. Reportedly, the US free-tv rights just went to TNT (the pay-tv rights are with Showtime) for about $15 million. Despite all that, the Weinstein Company seems bound to consolidate their business, more lay-offs ahead. Time to make a sequel/prequel, Quentin :)

Inglourious Basterds beat Pulp Fiction at the box office

I’m not sure how much Pulp Fiction has really made in terms of dollars, considering the years of TV runs, home video exploits and theatrical special screenings and so on and so forth, but Inglourious Basterds is now officially Quentin Tarantino‘s highest grossing movie ever, if you compare the initial theatrical box office numbers (cf.
