Basterds start training

From what we can gather, rehearsing on Inglorious Basterds started today, after a joint dinner with cast and crew in Berlin yesterday, that was well-received by some paparazzis (we suspect pictures of a drunk Til Schweiger very soon, probably). Reportedly, shooting will begin in the German state of Saxony on October 6th already, in an area called the Elbsandstein mountains (rumor) and production will then move to Babelsberg Studios in Potsdam near Berlin on the 13th (no rumor). The city of Goerlitz is also a location (no rumor). There are indications that german actors Gedeon Burkhardt and Christian Berkel may be part of the cast as well. On a sidenote, this picture might give an indication for the type of moustache Brad Bitt (starring as Aldo Raine) will be sporting. The actor moved his whole family to a lavish mansion near lake Wannsee yesterday. UPDATE: Here’s a video of the cast leaving a Berlin restaurant (you can spot Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger and Quentin Tarantino, as well as the aforementioned Mr Schweiger. A glimpse of the Pitt/Jolie mansion is included). UPDATE #2: Here are some pictures. UPDATE #3: The video has been taken off but can still be seen here (thanks to Jannis) but we can confirm that actors Gedeon Burkhardt and Christian Berkel are both in the film.
